Local interior designer honored

Easton, Md.— Maria Loveless, head of the L&L Design Team, which owns the Decorating Den Interiors franchise serving the Manassas area, was honored with the Chairman’s Positive Thinker Award. Normally presented at the company’s annual international conference; because of Covid19 closures, the award was presented during a company-wide video conference involving more than 200 interior design professionals

Positive Thinkers AwardThe Positive Thinker Award was started by the company’s late chairman, James S. Bugg, Sr., who constantly said:  “Any sales organization needs a core of positive thinkers.”  Each year, he selected a number of owners who “had stood out as examples of having a great attitude, which is the foundation of any successful business.”

Loveless was presented her award by James S. Bugg, Jr., president and CEO of Decorating Den Interiors.

“Maria truly has a ‘go get ‘em’ attitude,” said Jennifer Manley, DDI vice president, retail sales, “As a relatively new franchise owner, Maria has been an example of investing in herself, honing her marketing and leading in her networking group. She has an infectious spirit that never wanes.”

“As North America’s largest interior design and home furnishings franchise company, we offer our clients fine furniture, custom upholstery, accessories, lighting, floor and wall coverings, draperies and other hard and soft window treatments,” Loveless explains. “Currently, we are providing virtual design consultations with video conferencing.”

Decorating Den Interiors was founded in 1969 and has interior design professionals and decorators throughout the U.S. and Canada. Maria Loveless has been an interior designer for nearly twenty years and designs custom interiors for residential and commercial projects.
